Keyboard Ordeal

Backstory I have been avid watcher of Ben Wallack for quite while, especially all the keyboard stuff he has done over the years. Not sure what made me make up my mind, but month ago I finally decided to get small and ergonomic keyboard. So I did what anyone would do and reseached the options for solid week scrolling through all the possible keyboard options and stores to buy them (very cool website for that).

Beeper

You would think that accomplishing a simple task, such as communicating with others using text, would be straightforward, well, it can be. Backstory I used WhatsApp for all my messaging for a very long time since that was pretty much the de facto in the area I live. Then the accusations on WhatsApp came a couple of years back, and I decided to look into alternatives, settling on Telegram because I liked their approach to open-source clients and overall feature set.

Why?

Some time ago I noticed that the only thing I do in certain friend group discord server is complain about different things. I have also been wanting to try out static site generators like Hugo or Jekyll for long time. Then recently I recommended hugo to one guy running wordpress website and realized that I can’t really recommend something I know nothing about even if I know the tech itself is solid and tested to be great solution to the given problem.

Binario Favicons

So today I set up this hugo blog to test hugo out. First I tried using theme called “Bear Cub” which looked nice and minimalistic, but I got some weird errors with it so I decided to check out some other themes. So, I just picked this theme called Binario next, looked decent, simple and functional. I then spent the next hour configuring it and learning some hugo basics. At last I was pretty much done, having set up everything how I liked it, except the favicon.
